Our family owns a trucking company. We didn't shut down. Because we need to make a living and all. but most companies around here decided to run 45 mph for the duration of the trip. It has a point. The fuel prices have skyrocketed, and the freight rates have not changed at all. It's becoming harder and harder every day to operate a business like this and put food on the table.

ehh some places around here are trying out the year-round thing. they have classes for like 4 or so weeks then have like 2 off, then 4 more on the 2 or so off, etc. etc. ..i don't think I'd like that very much. and UAB is University of Alabama at Birmingham. its not quite a community college but its not a big expensive one either.

haha right on terrorist but yea I'm going to college. not sure when/where/for what yet as I have only talked about it with friends. I was thinking about going to a smaller one like UAB or somethign for the basic stuff then going on from there.. I guess we'll see though.

yea they've been starting school earlier and earlier every year here since like 6th grade. and yea I guess I'm taking the ACT and all that this year. fun stuff.

I tried putting a copy of my pci.sys on a floppy and copying it from there but it still gave me access denied. I'll try to rename it as soon i I can get into the frickin recovery console again. 9 out of 10 times I try it it freezes on the screen that says "press r to blah blah" ///EDIT yea I still get access denied when i try renaming it.

well i reseated the ram.. (took it out and put it back in..) and it didn't fix it =\

hey shanenin, thanks for the quick reply. when i tried the set command i got the following message "The SET command is currently disabled. The SET command is an optional Recovery Console command that can only be enabled by using the the Security Configuration and Analysis snap-in." ... there really is two "the"s too.. lol .. nice typo huh. but I'll try the ram solution now. thanks

Well howdy folks. lol One of these computers around here decided to spit out a fancy little "system32/drivers/pci.sys is missing or corrupt".. soo I decided to try my luck with the recovery console. I tried putting " Expand d:\i386\pci.sy_ c:\windows\System32\drivers /y " and i get an access denied. I'm kinda lost as to what to do next

i would consider staying at a hotel for a few days till i could find a way to fix it or get a new one..

yeaa. i get like 12 mpg in my corvette. I also have to put premium gas in it because of the motor. It's not exactly the cheapest thing in the world. (and the way i drive it doesn't help too much either >.>) but also, if another car decides to hit me there's a 90% chance the other car will come out on top. my car is like.. an engine with some fiberglass and a couple seats strapped to it
