  2. Will this be powerfull enough to play games smoothly?(I don't expect great performance, just good or ok) If it can then I might start making decisions. For an extra $20 improve the video card from a 6600 to a 6600gt, then get a Athelon 64 3000+ over a Sempron 3100+. Much better performance.

  9. The 4 extra pixel pipelines are probaly the biggest difference between the 2 cards. If you can I would go for the XFX 6800 or the eVGA 6800. Get the Ulra edition if you can. But don't get the LE or Limited Edition. The LE is much worse then the original and I don't even think that it is made anymore. That is the point of the LE. Go for the 256mb version also. <If you can afford it. How big is your power supply. If it is 250W or smaller then it might not run the card anyway.
