Hey gang, I was watching Link this show that was shown when Leo Laporte went to podcast expo last year. I like their flash player pop out window. I want the flash player because it seems to be the standard versus what I have on Link. So anyone out there if you can help me find that player it would rock.

I already have a linksys NAS200 but I have so many IDE seagate Drives around here and would love to get them out of holders and into NAS storage units.

only have 120GB in this Mini so all the space I can get is good. Already have I think 10GB of it taken up.

well there is a bunch of printers installed I am sure. Don't need those. I am sure there is a bunch of fonts that I don't need. I know when I redid my ibook from the factory it was much better and leaner.

yes but those programs I get. But I want to remove some of the default crap that comes from the factory much like you do with windows when you remove all the windows BS.

OK I just hit a snag here. I installed and did everything except the plist edit. I can't find that file it speaks of. What is the deal?

yah but there is other stuff in there that comes from the Factory that I don't need or have use for. So How do I dump it?

I want to delete all the junk that I don't need like languages and things of that I don't need. How does one do that? I don't need a lot of the stuff that came from the factory.

OK I did that and in there I set it for Multi Channel. it says source digital out and only gave me two channels to work with. I am sending this audio out of my mac mini to my 5.1 A/V receiver that is using optical or toslink. So why no surround?

ok the audio is being sent out raw? I would think there would be some way to change it over to PCM or what ever. It is going out via a toslink or optical into my 5.1 audio home receiver. It says it is getting a digital reception on the receiver. But I want the audio to be 5.1 all the time not 2 channel and then when I play DVD's it is 5.1.

OK I am not seeing anything in Lep that shows any OS X audio stuff. my audio control panel is greyed out on the taskbar. I don't see anything in the sound control panel. it just says digital out and built in output. I don't see anything else.

OK I was looking at the back of my mac mini and was told that I could use a fiber optic or toslink audio on there to hook into my surround sound. But I noticed it was not 5.1 at all. I could not also adjust the audio either. What is the deal here. Is my mac mini able to do 5.1 out of the ports?

I found this site, here and I like the cool image effect on there. I am cant read the words on there, but I would love to use that image effect. I am wondering if any of you there can help me out with the code and or so I can get the code. I would love to use this on a few sites I work on.

I am getting this error a lot in Vista Ultimate SP1 TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts. I would like for this to stop and also to stop losing my internet. It is anoying. Any suggestions on how I can make it stop? The Event ID is 4226

I just purchased QT Pro from Apple and would like to use the export function on things. So how does one get it to render out to a .flv, .wmv, and so forth? I was told I need codecs? Where does one get these?

OK I made some changes to things, check out http://www.dirtpit.tv/quicktime.html and see what you think. Also, I was told by godaddy.com that the file extension I needed was not turned on and also that being on a windows server did not help either so I am now on Linux and extension is all good. So in all it should work. Also, I need people with an iphone and others to test the URL out to see if it picks the right file for you to view. I just wish I could get rid of the jave script error that I see come up. I think for the most part I fixed the validation part.
