hmmmm....how interesting. I do believe what's been said about the yahoo and hotmail accounts sending gmail to the junk folder is true. They are jealous of gmail, is my belief.
-
Awwww! well we are always happy to have you around!

I haven't been having any trouble getting to their site at all. Have you just tried typing in "www.majorgeeks.com" into the address bar? Not using search?
-
When you plugged the device in, did anything happen? You should have seen XP noticing there was a new storage device plugged in, and installing the drivers automatically for you. It may take a few minutes to get everything together after it has been plugged in, so please be patient with it. I've seen some computers actually take a while before the drive is actually showing up for anything as well....no matter how many times the drive has been plugged into that computer.
Also, make sure that the USB port you are plugging it into does indeed work properly.

ummm....just a thought.....why don't you make it easier on yourselves and just download it from here: Portable Firefox? It's what I use on my flash drive and it works perfectly. All the work is done here for you already. All you have to do is download the file, and unzip it to the media you would like to have it on.

I only go to www.majorgeeks.com for ALL my downloads if possible. I've found the site to be most trustworthy and having the fastest download times.
Thanks for your continued excellent service.

Thanks CurlingSteve. I'll try that when I get back home and have that issue again, then I'll let you know how it works out for me.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening in the first place?

Ahh the joys of overlapping independent window management...
Did you try manually moving the window via keyboard? forgot the shortcut but you should be able to move it...
without knowing the short cut, I can't try it...

That it's personalized, and that it came from my BF.
Is there such a thing as TOO MUCH chocolate?
-
Not particularly
How much snow do you have right now?
-
Yes, when I have time.
Coke or Pepsi?

I'd be glad to look them over for spelling, grammar, and such errors if you'd like as well. I'd offer to help write some too, but I've got about 20 to write when I get back to work next week.

DK.....knowing the OS at least would be helpful.
Apparently "QW.exe" has to do with Qwicken. Is that on your computer by chance? Do you even use it? If not, I would just uninstall it.

Either a Sound Card or a bigger HD (havne't decided yet)
How many hours a week do you spend on games? (board games, solitaire, and ANY game is included)
-
Do you have admin priveleges on the system?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I've been having absolutely no problems lately. (Using firefox)
-
I agree with what Screi says. I've installed SP2 on at least 6 different machines (including a few laptops) and none of them have had the problems that some say it gives.
Just remember that before making any large changes like that to your computer, you should back up all your important data in case for some reason, something goes wrong.

Yep, I am the Santa's helper on the floor. Right side...
I THOUGHT so!!!
*huggles BD*
and Wonderful holidays to you all as well!
