what's the full specs including your PSU make sure you used the latest drivers for your video card and not the ones that came with it. an also since your runnin that card i'd suggest running the game in the lowest settings. My 6600GT handles it OK in medium but before the game would ever let me play though it made me update drivers (that was back when i had a 5700ultra) it made all nVidia users do that cause it came with the latest nVidia drivers at the time.

uhhhhh uh oh. i got mine in about february and it's a 160gb. is this Prob mostly in Dells? what kinda manufacturing defect its it are OEM drives in deep doo doo. man you are worrying me man. i have 80 gb of this drive taken up. knowing my luck luck recntly it don't look good. i'm glad you said SATA and keyword here SOME IDE cause mine is IDE maybe i'm safe. i'd much rather loose my mobo or cpu (not my video card though cause i have too many layin around thus harder to convince my parents to buy a new one).

i think i'll just install a fedora core 3 one. I don't have the time or patients to develop something myself. (I'm new to the linux world myself. only been usin it for a month and it's on my old computer anyway.) If there was a way to make all windows games to work flawlessly under linux i would drop M$ in a heartbeat but right now XP stays cause of games and my mom. she probably wouldn't like linux.

ok i fixed turns out there was a missing file in system32 but there was a copy in a floder in C:\windows\repair i just copied the missing file and BAM the program loaded that MS trouble shoot page did have what i needed but pointed me in the right direction. it helped me find the missing file preventing the game from installing

well what's pissin me off is i installed it on my old gateway and the dern computer freezes everytime i get to the player profile screen i installed the game on 2Kpro once it just didn't play cause i didn't have the patch according to the website it should install fine why isn't mine

Well I have this old game Gearhead Garage and I wanna install it on the Sidewinder. But i keep getting an erroe message. I wanna play on this system because of load times. If I'm gonna add 200 cars to the game again I don't want to wait 5 minutes for it to load on my Gateway and i also don't wanna keep burning the add-ons to CD-RW and running up and down stairs to transfer files. i've never been an advocate of wireless keyboards an mice for gaming. whether you are recharging or replacing, batteries are just a pain. I just hate that the dern thing will die in the middle of a game or worse when i'm kickin serious butt online. Why do you want wireless? I'll give you a wired suggestion.
