So I am not even 100% sure whats inside the guy (laptop) So I go to Toshiba's site to find the part to buy and they send me to "nationalparts.com" but when i click to get to computer parts to page hangs. Grrrr

My laptop heats up quickly, and I dont hear the CPU fan going So my conclusion is the fan gave out (Plus seconds before going out, I heard clicking coming from the CPU area and then the fan noise went away) satellite l25 s1193 <-- Laptop Model I am not familiar with the MOBO or anything with the laptop, and I am trying to find out the specs so I know what to buy for it. Either way, since I have to replace the FAN i may as well replace the CPU since it is a CELERON. So I am asking for your recommendations on a CPU and might as well upgrade from the 512MB RAM CPU RAM

Well guys, it's the SEASON (baseball)... I have a DI-624 model router The router broadcast and I am able to connect to the network; however I cannot seem to get connected to the internet via my laptop or any other of the 4 laptops i've tried. I resetted the darn thing, and it still wont work at the default settings. I am currently using a friends (of which is the exact same model) and I am able to connect fine. However when my router is plugged in the desktop wont even work. I am downloading the firmware to update the darn thing (took me forever to remember "firmware", I kept telling myself i need to try the BLANKware) Either w

Maybe just windows being windows??? I accidentally clicked the wireless button my laptop and so i got disconnected. I attempted to reconnect only to get the message "Not connected".. i believe trojan.zlob and it came back one more time and NORTON zapped it both times I thought my logs were clean, but after it came back the 2nd time i thought i'd post my stuff here to double check I'll check my norton log later today

that question you should ask your ISP..... called and they "dont filter for any reason" talked to the server admin again, and he said its a DNS issue (since i have zero knowledge in networking i am like YAAAAAAAAA) well he had me MANUALLY enter a DNS #, instead of it getting one automatically and the site works now. I am still reading up on my tech stuff, but after this i think im going to shift a little more time into network reading
