  10. Well, With my latest issues, it has gotten bad. Its a 30 minute limit (now) but not per student, per COMPUTER! http://dnpen.com/hononegah/emails.htm those are in order, from first sent. the last sent is at the bottom. now, since I (and several other students) are in a special computer course cant use google images, since the other classes use it up first hour. Same with all the computer labs.
  11. Because it uses the same amount of bandwith. The issue is bandwith... Its self defeating... "Oh well dont use google image search, it takes up too much bandwith... use yahoo instead...". Its going to take up the same CPU and bandwith usage... its just another search...
  12. That still makes no sense. It doesnt solve the problem. The problem is were are using up too much CPU power and bandwith by loading images, using alternative search engines doenst help at all, and its just annoying to the students... its pointless.
  13. Um, google images are hosted on google, not on the originating site.
  14. But we are REQUIRED to use image search for several of our projects. For example, for this web site we are doing ( http://sultana.dnpen.com ) we needed to find 10 images of our disaster. Well, with our currently almost random quota times its causing allot of distress for the students. And does anyone else find it funny how the administrator has LARGE spelling and grammar errors yet still corrects my grammar? He made a spelling error while correcting my grammar! He spelled English wrong.
  15. What exactly do you mean by ""Sunburst over snow" is just beautiful. I loved the composition of "A Tasteful Offer."" Im sort of confused, as if your in a different photo group.. I dont remember naming any of my photos that. Wrong shadow, i remember... but... the others? Give me a link, and mine are only the ones with the URL being /duconihilum/
  16. My school decided to block GOOGLE IMAGES from our school! MOST teacher require us to search for images for our reports etc... and they blocked it. A site I made about this Read the emails, somewhat entertaining.
  17. New pictures I got some new pictures, lemme know if you like them, and what ones you like.
  18. WOW! That's scary! They should put him in based on how much of a threat to society he is. People like that should be in for a LONG time, and be forced to wear a "child predator" sign in prison.
  19. Looks true, http://www.snopes.com/autos/techno/wetroad.asp
  20. No deepfreeze? All educational system computers around here have DeepFreeze installed. Makes it so you cant make any changes to the system, and makes it harder for spyware to be installed. Well, not really... There was still alot of junk on our computers, and you couldnt remove it without a deepfreeze password. Ironic, eh?
  21. how many boy friends / girl friends have you had in your life. Erhm. 0 disgruntled workers thread Dont work... maybe bible should come in pop up book form I'd buy it... Just for the fun of it. i heart Microsoft thread I have to use it... Macs = pay 50x amount of money for the same stuff thats in a PC box, Linux= not as easy, but the big problem is that i have a USB wireless receiver (for Internet). Needless to say, its HARD to set up.
