Earnings came in above estimates and the stock jumped 15%. Too bad it went down 10% the day before. Grrr. So hard to get anywhere in this market
-
Can you say three hour longs lines?!?!
Gah!
Then find the stock market tanks(investors get what's happening) My portfolio was down a nice 5% today.... Here's my "change". LOL!!!!
Not a good couple 'o days.
ime a socialistWhich explains so much...
Inluding your support of Obama
Yeah, I literally got in and out within 10 minutes here. No lines at all. Good first experience!I was a little anxious/nervous never having done it before - didn't want to screw up!
Goodjob!! Too many in your age group dont care.
I pray Obama will be good for our country. He has the "energy" running through America. Goodluck Mr Obama!

If this is serious research, say for investment purposes, it would be a good idea to poke around the serious hardware sites (i.e., not the gaming or general tech sites). There are people who believe that NVIDIA's long-term prospects aren't great because the market is heading back toward highly-integrated and general-purpose hardware and that could give Intel and AMD an insurmountable advantage.
Thanks Jc.
It's not for investment purposes per say, but mainly a quick trade. Earnings reports for Nvidia come out Thursday and I have a hunch analysts have under-estimated the company. Market-independent wild swings here lately seems to suggest the same.

Thanks folks

Would the folks that follow internet forums and/or are in the know, inform me on how "Nvidia" products are doing? Do you feel more/less people are buying them here lately? Any good/bad hype about their products on the message boards?
Same with the Macbooks, how are they doing? Is the AIR selling well?
Odd questions i know...

Don't have a spare disk laying around? Kmow anyone that would?

Here's a Microsoftt article with several solutions. Hopefully one of them will work for you:

About a month or so ago, google maps got "improved". Now on my end, it works like crap. Loads slow. Harder to use. Etc.
Anyone else notice this?

LOL!
Good One Sultan!

Sad story. A LIFE for a TV.
Surely you can't blame the home owner?

Ive mainly only used when networking some (PCs) together, and even then I hated it.
The My Network area is fairly confusing. It feels like to do some things you have to go around the sun to get to the moon.
Oh, and what happened to "Repair This Connection" to renew the Ip address? Now you have to "Diagnose" then "Repair"? Takes way too long!
Seems like Microsoft changed a lot of stuff to either make it different, or to dumb it down. I must say, I need a laptop. This may push me to Apple

Yes. But not w/o some jerry riggin.
Having two routers could make troubleshooting a network problem a real pain in the arse. You'd be much better off going wireless as far as the laptop is concerned.
Do either of the routers have an "Uplink" port?
If not, try this tutorial:

Production stopped last February.

LOTS of money has flown into SE Alabama thanks to the Iraq war. Sikorsky has tripled in size, adding lots of well paying tech jobs. Same with US/Bell Helicopter. COntractors in Fort Rucker Alabama, the Army's Helicopter pilot training facilities have added many jobs. The nurmerous small manufacturing companies supplying these folks have grown. And if you count tanks and planes as "production" then yes, GDP skyrockets, but tanks and planes do not improve anyone's standard of living.
J, sorry, but you are wrong here. The thousands employed just in the immediate area working to keep the military supplied with helicopters and pilots will disagree. The kids getting a free education from military contractors that need skilled techinical workers will disagree. And virtually any store owner around here will disagree, as w/o the steady income of the contracters, the local economy would crash.
"Thanks to the Iraq War? Come on Bubba Bob, I sincerely hope that you are not trying to justify war as a legitimate ecomonic stimulus. ....Are you?
Oh G-d, Of course not!
I usppose that sounds a little... bad... over the 'net. However, it IS a certain extent thanks to the Iraq war.
-
We're at war. How's the economy?
DJI over 14k says it all.
This latest down turn has nothing to do with any war.

Can you give us the link you are trying to use?

Mine's still the same (from WAY back when) -- Entirely black with just My Computer and the Recycle Bin icons.
Same here.
A flat grey-ish color (very easy on the eyes) with just a handfull of icons.
The fun-factor of the PC has completly left me I guess.

Can't get any better than "GOT3" fluid.
Master/Slave cylinders seems to be one of the most common items that fail either right out of the box, or shortly there after. Good idea keeping the proof of purhcase...

I've never talked about this before, but I really need advice on what could be a crucial decision. I've suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been cheating on me.
The usual signs... Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up.
My girlfriend has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, 'Just some friends from work, you don't know them.'
I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn't in a taxi?
I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.
Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my girlfriend I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.
I decided I was going to park my car next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my car, that I noticed that the brackets on my exhaust seemed to be broken off.
Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?

Marty, what does "Ultra Right Wing" mean in NZ? Curious as to what other countries identify right and left as.
