go to control pannel-sys-advanced - start up and recovery -settings and uncheck automatic restarts and see if your compt keeps restarting it self then post back. to try and recover the missing file try run -type cmd at the prompt type sfc/scannow insert your xp disk when prompted then press enter then go make 10 cups of coffee dont touch any thing the scan is finished remember this is for xp marty -
hi mat when i read this thread yesterday i went through the procedures but in those temp files was my pdf reader foxit. and when i deleted the files, i deleted foxit. so i had to go back and reinstall . foxit . at first the appli was recognising a previous foxit insatll so i had to go and delete every thing associated with foxit and start again from the- search- registry and luckly i had regcleaner which was still showing foxit so once i cleaned the sys up i was able to reinstall foxit im not sure why it was in the temp folders so any one who is down loading, make sure what folder i

Have you ever wondered where the phrase, "You gotta be s---g' me!"came from? Well, it just so happens to have originated through the Father of our Country Way back when, George Washington was crossing the Delaware River with his troops. There were 33 [remember this number] in Washington's boat. It was extremely dark and storming furiously and the water was tossing them about. Finally, Washington grabbed Corporal Peters [remember this name] and stationed him at the front of the boat with a lantern. He ordered him to keep swinging it, so they could see where they were heading. Corporal Peters, t

yes that it TheTerrorist_75 you can create a recovery disk i will ring my friend and see waht is required marty
-
hi all. the reason i suggested the recovery option was . a friend tried to install reinstall and the sys said please inset a sys disk and press enter this didnt work so he sent it to an outlet and it appears before you can reinstall. the hidden partition with win has to be completely wiped. so dell have a cunning plan to keep you using dell products the outlet explained with dell and hp you dont need a disk. all you need is to use the recovery option. as i said in a previous post i havent used it . and i couldnt give info on how to use it. before you try the option would it be better

hi dragon my post was aimed at the original poster tom coyote has a tutor for hjt and it would be wise for any one to learn the craft . i know what matt was referring to i belonged to a board where ir got cluttered up with hjt posters trying to get a fix for their client so it had to be stopped. take a look at g4 5-6 posts every day on hjt and now many of the hjt helpers by pass those posts because they cant cope my answer to shanenin is go there and post your Q if you went to world start they wont allow these sort of posts because they havent time to attend other problems so as i sa

i agree with mat isnt asking and suggesting the same thing i dont work to fix other peoples compts so i hope you dont include me in that catergory many of you join these boards to make cash on the side if your a compt fixer, shouldnt you know the answer instead of comming here, instead of picking the brains of the poster so you can increase your greed in this case shouldnt you have learned to read a hjt in stead of leaning on others to fix this problem. and you get paid marty

single black female 15.000 horny toads answered this- This has to be one of the best singles ads ever printed. It is reported to have been listed in the Atlanta Journal. SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play. I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for Daisy

hi all, in my country it is an offence to smack a child. and you can be fined a certain amount if caught. tho i didnt smack my children, i disaplined them by taking away their priveledges. i do agree with dragon that children have to be taught right from wrong. but each one of us has different methods. luckly for me my children are teen agers plus now. so the internet isnt a worry. but i have a friend whos daughter surfs the net looking for, as she calls it friends and i worry that she may get into trouble one day tho this problem isnt that prevelent in my country yet. i know it will
