Unfortunately, I have to call myself a Ram's fan. I live in LA and we can't seem to keep a team here. I have more passion in hating teams (Dallas and the Raiders) than in rooting home the Ram's in St. Louis. I'm almost afraid to see what team ends up in LA. I don't know if I'd rather have an expansion team (with undoubtedly a ridiculous name like Tsunami) or have the Cardinals or the Chargers move in. I keep hoping that the Vikings are the team that moves, but I don't think it will happen.

Aren't there a few prank hacks that do this sort of thing? It seems odd that the driver updates don't fix the problem. (I'm assuming that when you say you tried it on another computer you had the mouse on the same or a similar surface.)

If you plan on gaming, your video card is going to hold back your system. (Although it depends on your monitor too, if you have a 15" lcd it won't really matter) I would recommend at least the FX 5700, if not the 5950 or the Radeon 9800pro. I think you can save some money on memory and just get one stick of the 512 instead of getting 1GB (if you aren't video editing, I personally don't think you need more than 512), I would like more opinions on that though.

I waded through a dozen or so google links about playing DRM AAC files from iTunes on a Pocket PC and didn't find anything besides burn and re-rip to mp3. Has anyone here found a better solution? Or will Apple be releasing any iTunes software for the PPC platform? Edit: Just so there are no misunderstandings, I'm not looking for any legally questionable solutions. I don't want to have to break the protection, I just don't want to have to buy an iPod to play music on the road.

Speaking of video cards, what kind do you have? The rest of your system does look pretty good, but if your running the game using onboard video or using a cheap card, the rest of your system won't help much (bottleneck at the card). If you have a decent card though, I'm not sure what to tell you other than making sure you have the latest drivers for your card.

Wow! I guess my prefetch file was pretty ugly. Thanks to your tip my boot time was cut by almost 30 seconds on my laptop!
