I have been here often, but have limited my posting to near zero, wish I could say why.....

And I like it here in AZ. as it is alot like Idaho is,just a bit drier and warmer.

    Hi Marko,

Last time I was here I drove down and went thru Suncity and Phoenix (what a road race )

This time rode the silver bird,I was here from BOI in about 3-4 hours,if I drive it takes about 22 hours.

  2. Hi JSKY.

I remember bringing in the cordwood when I was back in New England. Definately hard work.

It's 96 degrees out here in Phoenix aka Hell, so I guess that means the seasons are changing from hottest to just hot.

My friends are now completely moved into their "cabin" at Spearfish Canyon and are really enjoying it. Still no broadband though. I might go up there in the Spring.

So what's your new job about?

    Joe

For now I am south of you.

    How far??

I look out the back window and see Mexico. :o

It as 84 I think.

    Nice to see you posting.

When the pace gets to frantic it must be vacation time....

  3. I have not posted in this thread for several reasons.

One of the bigger ones is this story,it happened 35 miles from were I live.

BOISE, Idaho (AP)-- A father who saw his teenage son shot and killed in front of his Boise home last December by a Boise police officer has doubts about the fairness of an Ada County coroner's inquest hearing planned for next week.

At the hearing, set for Monday to Oct. 19 and open to the public, county prosecutors will question witnesses and present evidence to a six-person jury. The jury will decide who was responsible for the Dec. 18 death of 16-year-old Matthew Jones, who was shot by Officer Andrew Johnson after brandishing a rifle with a bayonet attached, and whether there is any evidence a crime was committed.

If you must defend yourself and property do so with stealth and a 12g shotgun.

If you had had ammo and missed while using it a round would go clear thru your neighbor's house :(

  4. i'll shoot it as soon as my dad and I get it inspected and get more ammo. Right now all I have is 20 rounds of Remington Soft Point Core-Lokt hunting rounds, and one of them I ain't gonna fire cause the tip looks too damaged.

If it is just the soft tip of the round then there is no problem.

A semi/wadcutter have nearly flat tips and work just fine.
