Itunes turned a bunch of my music into .m4a files which my MP3 player cannot play. It takes a really long time to find each invidiual file and tell itunes to turn it back to mp3. Anybody know of a program which can find them for me. I tried windows search but it didnt work.

Download FileFind from Atribune.

  • In the box labeled "Directory"
  • Enter Drive eg.. C:\
  • In the box labeled "File"
  • Enter *.m4a
  • click find
  • Once it finishes searching, you can export the list it finds into a notepad file.

That will genereate a list of all your m4a files. the notepad will be stored in C:\Export.txt

..much faster than windows search
