hi all im haveing trouble with email spam

i use OE6

and ive stopped a lot of spam to my inbox

by using message rules

i also have 3 email addresses

the one to my in box is an alias

but the one on my web mail is

getting heaps of spam

i contacted my isp

about spam filters

but they have done as much as they possably

can

they informed me

to get mozlla thunderbird

as it has a spam filter

now my Q

does thunderbird have a spam filter

and can it be installed as a stand alone

or do i need to install mozilla

and i dont want mozzila

any ideas

Hi Marty,

If you have a firewall, check to see if thats got email protection included.

With my firewall is has everything i need in it and its Via Zone Alarm

I think that Thurderbird can be installed by itself, I will look into that for you.

Marty I made the switch to Thunderbird a few years back and can say beyond a shadow of a doubt you will never miss OE.

Hey first Opera now Thunderbird our little boy is growing up (sentimental tear in corner of eye).

yes as you know i used a compt

for the bare nessecitys

but i like to feel ive come a little

way since days of learning

i like opera.

and im comming to grips with it

i havent installed thunderbird yet

i wanted to see any comments

but if you say so that is good enough for me
