Dragon
ok, here is the deal.I have tbird, as well as OE, since I have founbd that tbird doesn't allow my emails to be delivered from their respective server, i thought I would convert back to OE. I can recieve my emails fine in it, but I can't send any from it. I keep getting this error. An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'generating error report.', Account: 'business email', Server: 'mail.iabusinessprojects.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0BI did read up on this, and the error has something about maybe being logged in on another machine, which it's not and no one has the pword or account loggin info except me. I don't even save the Pword on the computer for obvious reasons. Or another possibility is the account being "poplocked". If that is the case is that something I have to get handled from my webhost or is it something I can do from Cpanel?? I haven't tried this on my primary Email account yet, just my business ones.If I can get this resolved I would extremely happy. especially since, as I stated before, tbird doesn't give the full functionality that I need. xxkbxx
Who is your webservice through? It sounds like your settings are just misconfiguredOn GMail I know you have to go through settings to allow POP forwarding - so it could be a configuration
Dragon
checked that, the thing that ticks me off the most is the fact that it was working until I decided to use Tbird for it instead of OE.
TheTerrorist_75
Did you reset OE as your default email program in Internet Options?
Dragon
no I didn't do that, because the wife yells at me if she can't use her hotmail.

Chappy
Hey EdI would bet that T-bird has changed a setting somewhere thats causing this in OE.I'll research some and get back if I find anything.
