TheTerrorist_75 Posted January 26, 2006 Report Share Posted January 26, 2006 If it is booting to Safe Mode when it is installed the cause is not because it isn't formatted in NTFS or FAT. The problem is either the jumper is set incorrectly, the drive is not in the middle of the cable, the cable or hard drive is bad, weak power supply or the cable or power connection is bad/loose.
