macmarauder
i might be moving to Las Vegas in about 6 months and was wandering what it was really like for people who live there. when we think of Vegas we think of the glitz, glamour, lights, shows, and gambling. i've herd that it's actually a decent place depending on where you go. kinda like New York where there's alot of different culture in one city. so "please baby please" let me in on the real story. JDoors
Since I work in the casino industry (albeit in the MidWest) I know plenty of people who have either moved from or moved to Las Vegas. None have ever complained about living there. The people who've moved to the MW from LV usually have done so to be closer to family. The people who move from the MW to LV usually have done so for job opportunities. The only thing I've heard that I personally wouldn't like is the X-treme heat. As with other extreme climates you either love it, learn to live with it, or never get used to it. That's the only thing that might be a deal breaker: Can you stand the heat? macmarauder
So, what is bringing you to Vegas, Macmarauder? Yes, I'm nosey. You know that Liz<{POST_SNAPBACK}>i just feel like i need a major change in my life cause i'm not happy with things here and i've always had a curiosity about Vegas. it's funny how we all have this image of Vegas as the City of Sin but the more i've watched about it the less it seems like that. plus one of my fathers best friends is moving there to run a concrete company in about 6 months and he offered to let me go with him. i'd like to talk Dan into moving with me but he's still got another 2 years of college for his third degree. i can still go pretty much anywhere i want, i just have to let them know where before i go. if it's outa state anyways or in this case if i move.
