Mandrake (kde Question)

Recommended Posts

This has happened from the time I installed Mandrake 10.0.

I start it up and all it is is a blue desktop with no icons and it's really plain. Then I click 'Logoff' and it starts the KDE desktop loading. And then it takes me to my normal desktop.

Anyway to bypass the first 'desktop'?

Thanks

how confident are you with the command line?

take a look or post your ~/.xinitrc file...

This stores wich DM to start.. if you have two listed remove the first one.
