X-Cannon
Um, I have some music on cd and I want to play it while playing Doom3 and I need all the memory I can get even though I have 2GB of RAM. I dont want to use windows media player because it take up to much. Do you guys know of any good players that take up very little memory?
Snaxe
I do believe Winamp doesn't take much memory. Seeing as how the music is on CD, you could play the CD in a CD player, just a thought.

If you have a CD player NOT on your computer that you could play the music through, I would suggest doing that instead.

I agree with the folks that have voted for the "outside" player. There's no sense in taking up resources unless you have to. If you do have to use it - no portable player or something - then go with winamp; definitely doesn't take up much memory.
X-Cannon
I have a CD player but I like to use head phones while playing though. X-Cannon
In winamp if I turn down the volume my game sounds get lower too why? Can't I just lower the volume of the music and not the game?
marko_tomas13
winamp lowers the master volume when u lower the volume
mikex
Try control panel/sounds and audio devices. In the device volume advanced, this will give you a few more sound options to play with.M
