Pete_C
I hate those things.BI second that opinion.I cannot recall how many times I have seen a good install ruined by someone cleaning the registry. They only should be used if you have a problem and know what it is; then they make the searching a bit easier. rhema7
I never delete automaticlly so I feel safe using it. I myself have seen so perfectly good but cluttered Installs messed up but it has a place in my personal tool box. RegClean is my usual program because it is portable. I rarely use on my PC, But has help with others. You are right for the average user not a good idea. But it does give an overview of what are potential problem areas. I did hand clean for year this just locate many areas of intrest without hitting F3 over and over. My personal review as of late is: • Very clean interface • Fast • Backup feature • From what I have seen has only pinpointed safe entriesSo for anyone who feels comfortable with this depth of cleaning it is a servicable if not very good Program. But thats just my Oppinionpreston
