Hey Guys,

finishing up a cleanup job and looking for a quick once over on the log.

updated scans with adaware, spybot, and avg all come back clean after removing 3 trojans, 2 virus and about 200+ spyware related items but 2 things still look suspicious to me and I can't find anything googling, was wondering if any of you might know what they are-->>O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [r3sk37W] msyrenv.exe and O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [a03qRXapi] msuscfg.exe

thanks in advance,

T.

Hello Tictoc5150,

.

You just need to fix a few things from the log.

Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete, and end the following processes:

msyrenv.exe

msuscfg.exe

Open HijackThis, and check the following entrys:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

These are random, and should be deleted:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [r3sk37W] msyrenv.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [a03qRXapi] msuscfg.exe

Close all windows except HijackThis, and press the "Fix Checked" button.

Reboot into safe mode by pressing F8 at startup and selecting "Safe Mode" from the menu.

In safe mode, delete the following files:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\msyrenv.exe

C:\WINDOWS\system32\msuscfg.exe

Reboot, and post a new log.
