StealthG
I dont know where I was suppose to put this so ill just post it here. Ive been sending messages that i type up myself to various friends. When they are expecting the messages, they dont see them in their inbox. So i go and tell them to check their spam folders, and there they show up! This has happened with yahoo and hotmail. Anyone know why this might be happening? I dont like this, because gmail is now my main email account and i dont want people to delete my messages because it shows up in their spam folder.
bar5
Just a thought, but if they put your Gmail address in their address book, it might not put your mail in spam. It might recognize it as legitimate mail. Worth a try.Barb
marko_tomas13
im not sure about this...what barb said was a good idea but i've heard rumors that hotmail and yahoo have been filtering @gmail.com addresses into the junkmail folder by defaultthe only way to disable that seems to be to add the email to your address book as barb said, or to disable the spam filter (which i doubt they would want to do lol)
Nerelda
hmmmm....how interesting. I do believe what's been said about the yahoo and hotmail accounts sending gmail to the junk folder is true. They are jealous of gmail, is my belief.
