option-shift-k Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 (edited) None of my usb ports work on my g4 cube.( i am using my macbook) Now, my first instinct was to reset the pram, but as I stated the usb's do not work so I can not use a keyboard or mouse. Reseting the pram on the cube requires a keyboard. So can someone help me? I beg you! I heard a theory that the problem might be the internal battery, but that sound kind of debatable. thanks! isteve Posted January 27, 2008 Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 My guess is that the USB is stored on hardware maybe PRAM, because it loads before the operating system loads. Of course to boot from the optical drive or single user your going to need the keyboard. The only thing you can do is try the battery.Dose the cube have any PCI slots?
