intocomputing2
ok just have a quick question, my friend showed me today the new laptop that he got with Windows Vista Home Premium on it and the first thing he wanted to try out was web surfing, so he took out the Ethernet cable out of a desktop computer and plug it into his laptop, however, he wasn't able to get connection with the web, as he tried to surf many different websites with no luck at all, yet when he plugged back the Ethernet cable on the desktop computer this one was able to detect the connection and start surfing immediately, does anyone know what may be happening here? just on a note the desktop computer runs Windows XP Home Edition and the laptop runs Windows Vista Home Premium Edited December 7, 2007 by intocomputing2
