isteve Posted August 7, 2007 Report Share Posted August 7, 2007 Well Apple announced new iMacs today they're Aluminum and Glass, glossy screens. They come in 20" and 24" and start with a Core 2 Duo 2Ghz up to Core 2 Duo Extreme 2.8Ghz all can handle 4 gig of RAM and come with 250 gig to 1 terabyte of hard drive space. The Mac mini also got updates 2 Ghz Core 2 Duo. Also the iLife suite got a update, imovie was scrapped for a totally new version still called iMovie but nothing like to old version. Garageband got some really nice updates that I'm very happy about. Also updates to iWeb, iDVD and .Mac.And thanks to a educational discount "I work for a school system" and my state has a tax free weekend the 11 and 12th I'm buying a new iMac. Yes a 20" 2.4 Ghz, 320gig hard drive, 8x double layer Superdrive and a ATI 2600 Pro video card. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Whats up with the wires attached to the keyboard and mouse? As expensive as those things are Id expect built in bluetooth with a wireless keyboard and mouse...
