Forty years ago today March 28, 1973, the last U.S. combat troops left Vietnam. I departed there the 14th of Oct. 1968, god was i glad to see the USA !!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the heads-up Chuck. Everyone should keep their systems patched, up to date, and use a firewall. My wife came close to being fooled by a paypal phishing scam. The bad guys are getting smarter.

Well it's offical, i was there at the end ................. G4 forums is dead - 404 error ! The home page is there but no forums! Thats how it went down !! Now to get on making BT the best forum there is !!!! I'm posting ads everywhere !!

I don't want to sound sour, but queries need to be answered. Perhaps we have too many choices of topics for helpers to scan regularly.
Case in point. If we don't have experts in a field, why have the topic?
I remember when this place was booming. Help coming from every direction and Jeff even getting some revenue from google ads.
I am hopeful that some of the experts will come back to BT. Today is G4's last day.

I have been asked by Jeff (BT) to help with Malware logs here, i am thrilled to be able to help with that fight.
I retired in August last year & now have plenty of time to offer my help ! I visit & study Malware logs at all the other main sites just to stay up on the new tools/programs & the newest infections. Bring on the hunt !

Gotta go to the doctors tomorrow; had a fever last night and should have called today. Felt like I had a Urinary tract infection this morning, and it got worse throughout the day. Now I have blood in my urine. Since I have no spleen I hit my emergency antibiotics and will go to the doc tomorrow for more potent stuff. Last time this happened I awas on Floxin for thirty days.

Not sure you remember me, as it has been a very long time, but I don't forget BestTechie. It has and always will be a favorite place of mine. This is where it all started for me after Techtv. We all migrated to here and Jeff gave us a home. Some also went to G4TV.
BestTechie was my learning place, and many thanks to you all for sharing your expertise with me, so now I can help others. A sort of give back for you giving to me.

Happy New Year all, this will be my 1st year of retirement, it's been boring for the first 6 months. Lots of computer time tho, No special hobbies but fighting malware is a time consuming i love to do ! Any way bring it 2013 !!!!!
