Im pretty sure it was caused by a trojan, I just ran NOD32 a couple days ago and it picked up some, I'll post a HJT now

Yeah I used CMD and opened up the reg and I used the reg edit, I beacked it up, and changed the value. It worked perfectly... thanks for the help

I just did this mod yesterday and it worked PERFECTLY. It's amazing, I even have rumble support (great vibrator ) haha just kidding. I played Need For Speed Most Wanted with this and the controls were pretty easy to set up. Make sure you have the latest XBCD drivers (version 1.07 I think). Im so happy i got this to work because its my first working mod!!

I have used Nero Vission Express for a long time now and I never liked it. Its too simple and doesnt have enough features for menu creation and things like that. I was wondering if there was any other programs that could take an AVI or MPEG movie, create menus, and burn to a DVD thats watchable on DVD player. Thanks for the help.

Repartition or reformat the remaining Ubuntu partitions if there are any and you're done. There's no need (and no way) to uninstall as such.

I cant get into the recovery because i dont have an administrator password, my account doesnt have a password so i didnt put anything in, then i put my sisters password in and it still said it was invalid we're the only 2 accounts on the computer. Is there any other way?? thanks for the help

I installed Ubuntu about 2 months ago and couldnt be happier, but the problem is my sister and I both use the same computer and she doesnt like to use Ubuntu because shes really stupid. Anyway since I wasnt using Ubuntu and i needed the hard drive space I decided to uninstall Ubuntu. I used Partition Magic to format the partition that Ubuntu was on, and then i moved that space to another partition. I had to restart for the changes to take effect, so I restarted. I wasnt able to get anywhere after the restart. It said something like... Loading Grub.. Error loading Grub error 15 and thats it not

Alcohol 120 will be able to mount them on a virtual drive, I personaly use Daemon Tools 4, but I think with Alcohol 120 you just right click on either the .mds or .mdf and go to mount and then select the virtual drive.

I use Nero 7 to convert avi/mpeg files to dvd format and then to burn it. The problem is Nero takes about 2 and a half hours to covert and then another 30-34 mins to burn. I was wondering if there was a faster program to convert avi/mpeg files to dvd faster
