I don't want to learn to damage or hurt other's computers or steal info, just to understand how its done, how vulnerabilites are exploited and why it works. I've always wondered just how on earth its done, that's all. I wasn't really even going to test it or anything, let alone steal info or harrass people. Hey thanks everyone. I downloaded a new driver, and that did the job. it scared the poo outta me, because i didnt know it was working, and this thing came up with a sound, and i was likeAHHHH!! p-ta

haha actually, today was great. i had my math exam today, and didnt fail because of my....uhh....excellent programming skills with the TI-83. I had some left over time after the exam, and i succesfully made a screen that looks like a ship traveling thru space. (Black screen wth white dots going down the screen) p-ta

ive had this computer for like six months. its a gateway 2000 and it has windows 98 on it. i had formatted the hard drive in like March of 04, but after i did it, there was no sound. Ive tried different speakers, so i know it's not them. Then i tried going to add hardware, and it detected hardware, but it gives me an error, saying something's screwed up with the driver. thwn it told me to insert the Win98 cd-ropm to reinstall it , so i did that and it had nothing for what i was looking for. any suggestions? p-ta

As i have stated before, I know some VB. I might be able to help. Another almost completely useless and lame programming skill i took on was to program my calculator....haha. but it actually comes in handy sometimes...it has saved my grade many times! though im sure nobody will want to know about that... p-ta
