  9. Here is what I use if I see them installed on a user's PC. Unless you are comparatively knowledgeable about your version of Windows, you can certainly do more harm to your computer's functioning than any small improvements made by registry cleaners warrant. There are safer methods to employ to speed performance, and these usually produce noticeable results. See this link for a start. http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiem...owcomputer.html
  10. Hello and Welcome to the forums. I am MoNsTeReNeRgY22 and I will be assisting you with your computer problem today. Glad you were able to fix most of it on your own, lets just be sure though that you are good to go! I can't read your HJT log the way you posted it, do it this way. Open HJT Scan and Save a Log File, it will open in Notepad Go to Format and make sure Wordwrap is unchecked Go to Edit> Select All.....Edit > Copy and Paste the new log into this thread. Then Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner I highly recommend using Internet Explorer for best results! Note:

  12. Thanks for all your input, and now I have moved away from upgrading to N. I have a new question though, can you guys suggest a good wireless G card for my desktop becuase the one I have now is horrbile.
  13. I did look at that router, but I read alot of bad reviews for it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16833127243 Well there are two other reasons for our upgrade, the first is better encryption, the other is the card I have right now is a piece of **** and has alot of problems dropping the signal and just staying connected. Same with the other computer since they have the same card. So since we are upgrading, we thought might as well get the newer standard. Also, our internet speed is 15Mbps.
  14. Hi everyone, Well we have a home network with a wireless routher(802.11G) and two computer's with wireless adapters in them hooked up to the network. Also have the occasional PSP and iTouch hooked up to it wirelessly as well. Anyways, we want to upgrade to 802.11 N to get the faster speeds mainly for the desktops since they are both used for gaming. We have a price limit of about $250 total for the router and two wireless adapters. Any suggestions on hardware are highly appreciated. I found the following, but not sure if its any good. Let me know what you guys think! Router http://www.ne

  16. Hey again, Step 1 I see you have LimeWire PRO installed on your system. While the program itself is legal, most of the files downloaded with it are not. Also, quite often the files can be infected with viruses, malware, and other undesirable applications. I highly recommend uninstalling LimeWire PRO via Add or Remove Programs, but this program is optional for you if you choose to want to keep it. Step 2 Please download JavaRa to your Desktop and unzip it to its own folder. Run JavaRa.exe, pick the language of your choice and click Select. Then click Remove Older Versions. Accept any prompt
