  1. I can't even go two days before it starts to drive me up the wall.

That sounds just like me. I'm addicted to the Internet, I check my mail zillions of times a day. Perhaps we could start a new service.

    IA= Internet Anonymous :lol:

    Good evening everyone,my name is tenmm,I'm a user. :P

  2. Thanks for the help guys! I will try again and post back to let you know if I succeeded. :P

    EDIT:

    Fax sent successfully! Thanks again.

I had to also configure the dialing rules to get it to send.

The simplest of things are always the hardest. At least for me, LOL. :D

MMM funny thing I can flash a e-mail halfway around the world in seconds, but can not send a fax across the street to save my soul.:unsure::wacko:

  3. If I may??

Unistall the video card and restore the onboard graphic's.

then tryto get the SM controler to install.

After you get the controler installed then re install the video card and disable the onboard.

I think what has happened is the software does not reconize the card and stops.

I'm hoping that by finishing up with the system in stock config it will finish installing.

  4. For a couple of years I've been blaming it on lack of sleep, not

enough sunshine, too much pressure from my job, earwax buildup,

poor blood or anything else I could think of.

But now I have found the real reason: I'm overworked. Here's why...

The population of this country is 273 million. 140 million are retired.

That leaves 133 million to do the work.

There are 85 million in school, which leaves 48 million to do the

work. Of this there are 29 million employed by the government,

leaving 19 million to do the work.

2.8 million are in the armed forces busy liberating the opressed and

keeping us safe. Which leaves 16.2 million to do the work.

Take from the total the 14,800,000 people who work for the state

and city governments and that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.

At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals, leaving

    1,212,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons. That leaves just two

people to do the work. You and me.

And there you are sitting at your computer reading jokes.

    Nice..... real nice..... !!

and you were sitting there writing it so no one was at work

    JD

    :o

Crap no wonnder the US owes so much money to the rest of the world.

  5. the only console i currently own is the bulky big grey ps1 (the old version)....i like it cause i have a fair collection of old games and still play from time to time

i havent really bought into the whole console thing because it was a lot of money n my family didnt really have much to spare in the early years....

now i still think its a fairly expensive gaming solution and the games are also expensive....i just use my comp for everything including gaming

I have and still use a sega gamegear handheld with 6 games. B)

  6. A Marine stationed in Afghanistan recently received a "Dear John"

letter from his girlfriend back home. It read as follows:

    Dear Ricky,

I can no longer continue our relationship. The distance between us

is just too great. I must admit that I have cheated on you twice,

since you've been gone, and it's not fair to either of us. I'm sorry.

Please return the picture of me I sent to you.

    Love, Becky

The Marine, with hurt feelings, asked his fellow Marines for any

snapshots they could spare of their girlfriends, sisters,

ex-girlfriends, aunts, cousins etc. In addition to the picture of

Becky, Ricky included all the other pictures of the pretty gals he

had collected from his buddies. There were 57 photos in that

    envelope....along with this note:

    Dear Becky,

I'm so sorry, but I can't quite remember who the 'Hell' you are.

Please take your picture from the pile, and send the rest back to me.

    Take Care, Ricky

I can date a letter like this back to Vietnam,is still funny thou.

  7. The storm knocked out power to some 825,000 residences and businesses serviced by Alabama Power, according to a release on the company's Web site.

In Baldwin County, where Gulf Shores is located, and parts of Monroe County, all of Baldwin Electric Membership Cooperative's 56,000 customers were without power, according to the company's Web site

This is about three days old but gives you a idea of what the power company has got to try to fix.

It could take several weeks to get everyones power back on.

  8. Handplane

It is possible that there is no power where flatiron lives,if so then would no be supprised if it takes a couple of days to get power back up.

I would wait a while, wait and see if you get a reply on monday.

  9. Hey Shadow_Thomas

    Got a question.

have you tried rolling back the driver you downloaded from HP for your video??

One thing all of us know is SP2 is having compatibility issues witth all types of software.(big time)

IMHO third party drivers are not a good idea I do not down load updates from MS for my video(nvidia) or my sound (SB) and I would not from HP.

Go to Nvidias website and see if you can find a better driver version than the one you have.

Only a suggestion, but at this point you got nothing to lose.

  10. Send the thing's you use everyday tooth paste, soap that kind of stuff, send some candy(it will be a big hit..no chocolate.. it will melt).

Send a quick note and let the person know that your(all of you )thoughts are with them(all of them).

send magazines, writing paper(a pen/pencil)bug spray, what ever you would use day to day.

Onething all of us need to know and remember, the US millitary as good as it is does NOT provide everything someone needs day to day.

A care package is a great way to tell them you CARE.
