Martint
Ok, this is annoying me.I never worked with old CPU/Motheroard.I installed/removed my AMD 3000+ fine on my other computerBut, now when I try to remove this Celeron 2.6, I got no idea where to start.Do I just pull it out?Is there a lever or something? TheTerrorist_75
If it is a Socket 478 processor then the motherboard should have a ZIF socket similar to the AMD Socket A processor. There should be a lever to one side that is used to release the processor.
xxkbxx
Like TT said, there are probably 2 levers or one. You can flip them back then use a small flat head screw drive to pull the heatsink/fan from the motherboard bracket.

xxkbxx
Wait, did you mean the processor itself, or removing the heatsink and fan?
