Chappy
Hi MartyRemember old friend...."Google is your friend!"A Google search on "dban" brought up the original authors site, and at least 10 sites where you could d'oad it, plus another bunch that reviewed it...Looks like a good utility, I haven't heard of this one yet so I'll have to test it out and see how I like it. I still use Active KillDisk at the moment, but it never hurts to have more than one Killdisk utility at hand.
bearskin
I like autoclave but believe me it takes a while to overwrite 25 times. of course autoclave has been discontinued but some colleges are still using it. I have no way to prove that it really wiped it to dod standards. that's the good thing about smoke signals...one good wind will take care things...ok...ok that's enough...I'm outta here. Chappy
that's the good thing about smoke signals...one good wind will take care thingsHow many Gigs can a smoke signal store???Thats what I thought...only 640k can be stored in smoke signals, the "old" Bill Gates size limitation applies to those. (Actually, that was misquoted as coming from Bill Gates. He has denied ever saying that "640k ought to be enough memory for anyone")
KeithLDick
How many Gigs can a smoke signal store??Depends on *What You are Smoking at the time I'd say*...Amercian Woman Stay away from Me Hee, American WomanOops I was thinking out loud...
bearskin
we don't think of smoke signals as Mb or Gb. we think as bits and bytes.remember now when you're sending smoke signals...1 puff of smoke and 1 space equals 2 bits.
