DarkestDream
I am trying to run Second Life, but it got a error. it said that i have a out-of-date SiS driver. So i am trying to find the motherboard driver, Jetway 6A6IXJ19.The problem is, Jetway company never heard of that model number. but I got the info from FreshDiagnose, it said i am usign Socket 478, Jetway 6A6IXJ19. But when i look in my motherboard, there a number said "S447". so i look it up in google and found it, it was Jetway, and the driver is there but it out-of-date. it 3 years old. but Second Life still saying my SiS driver is out of date. So Please Help me *Sad puppy eyes* Edited July 2, 2006 by DarkestDream

shanenin
So you are trying to update your drivers for your onboard video, is that correct? if so run belarc advisor. Then post the info under the heading Display, this should be the video chipset your system is using. After you post the information I would be happy to help you look. Also, what windows OS are you running?edit added later//I see your signature says windows xp sp2 Edited July 2, 2006 by shanenin

shanenin
I can probably look it up with the info you provided, but you should have a section called "Display", it will have your video chipset listed Edited July 2, 2006 by shanenin

shanenin
I'm not exactly sure what driver you need, use at your own risk :-) I am not sure what chipset drivers the game is complaining about. These below are the newest generic drivers the sis offers.sis agpgart driveride chipset drivers Edited July 3, 2006 by shanenin
TheTerrorist_75
The only driver that a game should complain about is the graphics driver. If it is complaining about a SiS driver then it must be referring to onboard video which should be disabled if you are using an AGP/PCI MX 4000.

DarkestDream
I just found out from CPU-Z, not sure if it is incorrect, but it said my motherboard model is SiS-645, and the chipset, my motherboard chipset is SiS-645. Im confused here, why FreshDiagone and Cpu-Z say the different thing?
TheTerrorist_75
Here's the drivers from Jetway. Scroll down to 645/650/740 Serial. You will need to figure out which of the drivers on the list your board needs. Edited July 5, 2006 by TheTerrorist_75
