mikex
Does anyone know if it is possible to run Spybot S&D, AdAware, and A2(squared) from cd. I need to troubleshoot a machine with internet problems. The people have dial up, don't want to waste time dl'ing these if it is possible to run from cd.M
Matt
I do think it is possible to run from a CD, you just have to make sure they scan the computer. If that doesnt work, you could always put it on a disc, then just save them to the HD, so they wont have to download. Someone correct me if im wrong.
Nerelda
unless there's a trick to it that I don't know, I was never able to get them to run from the CD or removable drive/device.
Matt
Ok, then perhaps im wrong. But you should still be able to put the install files onto a CD, then just install them on the other computer

CurlingSteve
A bootable Bart PE CD can include AdAware as a plugin (among other programs) and run it.Having a CD that boots its own (limited) copy of XP comes in very handy.
