cherokeechief Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 yes, that is what DDR266 is.some manufactures don't get very specific when it comes to memory.but that is what it is, PC2100 sodimm, 200 pin.and the max ram you can have is 1GB of ram. you can have 2 sticks of 512mb. it comes with 1 stick of 256mb from the factory.if you are goping to add ram, may i suggest, just replace the ram you have with new sticks of ram, from the same manufacture. mixing brands of ram can sometimes have problems, like random crashing and freezing up. That laptop only had one slot, so I has to remove the single 256mb stick to make room for a 512mb. Since I already have a 256mb, I will give it a try and see how it works.
