Mainter
is there anyone who can explain to me how to add a file extension to the 'safe to download and launch' list on a mac?
macmarauder
sure. which OS X version and which Safari Version? cause it makes a difference on how to adjust that setting. there is no direct support for adjusting what file types are listed as safe as with other Browsers like FireFox but it can be done. macmarauder
sorry i've been busyhere's some links for infohttp://macenterprise.org/content/view/201/84/http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?sto...051221220935102just so you know it's not completely safe to leave this option on anyways. it has a possibility to run malicious scripts. if your going to leave that option on then you might want to install something like this to at least let you know if the item you downloaded is trying to run script. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29221
