jerrys Posted November 1, 2004 Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 i have a problem in windows my picture file. some picture files not all , when i try to open a picture i get the following message, this application has failed to start because libfontconfig-1.dill was not found reinstalling this application may fix this problem. i have done a search on google and ab lot of pointing is done to a program called gimp i do not have that program installed any help? thanks jerrys Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Chappy Posted November 1, 2004 Report Share Posted November 1, 2004 Try reassociating all picture extensions back to Windows Picture and Fax viewer to see if they'll open.In control panel - folder options - file types tab, scroll to jpeg/jpg, gif, and bmp if you want to change all of them, highlight the extension and see what it opens with.If its not Pix & Fax viewer click Change and select it from the list, select the Always Use box and OK out.Do this for all picture extensions and see what happens.Dave Quote Link to post Share on other sites
