hitest
Yes, agreed. TBird is a great alternative to other e-mail clients, the junk mail filter works very well,
Chappy
Hi MartyYes, T-Bird is a good email client.I also recommend Eudora, and it's my personal favorite BTW. I've been using Eudora for 6 years now and I would never, ever....EVER go back to Outlook or Outlook Express after using EudoraIt's easy to make spam/junk filters with Eudora, and just as easy to set up auto filters for all your good mail too,Using the Sponsored version of Eudora gives you a full featured email client, and the advertisement you have to put up with is very small, sit's in the bottom left corner, and is NEVER obtrusive! In fact, I never even notice it at all anymore. It never nags at you, never pops up mid screen, and the companies it advertises are all trustworthy ones. I just can't say enough good about this email client and how unobtrusive the ad's are in the Sponsored mode, as well as how many cool features you get...it's truly a joy to use this program. martymas
hi dave when i posted earlier about t-bird some one else said they used eudora it is some one on this board.when i was at techtv i used eudora the young man who set up my comptinstalled it for me.later as i got to know every one on the boardi went to outlook express i think because it came with win xp and i havent changed until i installed t-birdi was getting heaps of spam an even setting message rules helped for a wee while but they changed the email address so i got a bit brassed off, so i changed. our gov has got legislation in the pipeline to ban local spam but the problem is spam from american sourcesis the problem it isnt illigal to send spam in the usa.so can you see our gov pointing the finger at the mighty usanot likelymartymarty
