GrundleLove Posted February 20, 2006 Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 ok so i FINALLY got my internet back...i had to reformat again. so my comp came with Nortan Anti-Virus so i got the live updates....then i had to restart. when i came back i could not connect to the internet....no i had to do the same thing all over again. why does this happen? this is such an inconvienence. any help?oh and another thing....does this mean i won't have my internet after the "lease expired" date? Pierce Posted February 20, 2006 Report Share Posted February 20, 2006 Nah, your ip is assigned by dhcp, by your router/isp. Its how long you own the ip. So if its set for 1second, you definatly own it, till you reconnect, or if its 30 days, you own it for thoes 30 days etc etc.Pierce Quote Link to post Share on other sites
