Besttechie
Well, If the DVD Player can play CD-R's then yeah it should, if not - It probably won't. B
HPoirot36
Right on the money. I have 4 DVD players...2 will play VCD and 2 won't. Try it and see....IF the DVD player will play picture CD's chances are it will play VCD's.

gargriff49
Ok I have a movie in VCD format if I burn that to a CD-R will it play in a dvd player? Most all DVD players will support VCD if encoded properly in mpeg1 format. You can also play a VCD in any cd-rom drive by opening the mpegAV folder and double clicking the .dat file. windows media player will play it.
