shanenin Posted February 1, 2006 Report Share Posted February 1, 2006 Slackware and gentoo, both being source distros tend to take up more space do to the developmental libraries.I would reccomend a bianary distro like ubuntu, since it installs developmental packages seperately, it tends to be a smaller install.
