martymas Posted January 22, 2006 Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 i have this old comp i play with my problemit used to have win 98 but i thought ide fdisked an formated the hdd now when i put a floppy in the drive it says wrong sys disk the same as the 98cdwhen i boot up it gets to the point where it shows delete so i can get to the bios nothing happens i understand when this happens it has a hidden partitionwhich needs to be deletedcan i down load sofware from the net with my own compt to wipe the hdd clean im very inexpereinced with this appli so i need blow by blow instructionsit isnt essential but ide like to try itmarty Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If you do you can use QTParted to remove all partitions and format the drive.
