irregularjoe
PBS You is going off the air. This was one of the few intellegent networks left.I guess we need more bandwidth for Oprah, Cops, Jerry Springer, and Dog the bounty hunter. And a few hundred more right wing christian praise the lord networks. How sad.I'm getting closer and closer to using my DTV dish as a frisbee and cutting off the TV.PBS sells out Edited January 20, 2006 by irregularjoe

JDoors
You don't have a local PBS station? Or PBS YOU is your local station? Or you don't get local stations?
blim
Wait, I'm confused (I know, I know...again...), is PBSYou a different channel/network than PBS? We get PBS but never heard of PBSYou. Liz
Brandon
Well irregularjoe here you go:In keeping with our commitment to always-available public television, your local PBS station will continue to offer a variety of quality educational programming. Never heard of PBS You either
Honda_Boy
PBS You is like a Satelite PBS or Extended Cable PBS there are Local PBS stations too. Like ours is NPT (Nashville Public Televison). They have local stuff but then have PBS programming at regualr times. Its like local staions of other kinds. Say our Fox is Fox17. It gives local news but has regularly scheduled Fox programs. Same goes for our ABC, NBC, CBS, WB, and UPN.

JDoors
So you also get a local PBS station then, right? But ... Sometimes your local station will have locally produced programming (sometimes of little interest to you) while PBS YOU will continue to broadcast PBS-produced material, right? Got it, I think.
