Don't pay extra for a case with a power supply if you plan on spending an additional $85 for a PSU

I'd recommend Cooler Master or Thermaltake for a good case (but that's just my opinion)

Go with a SATA-300 interface (you would need a better motherboard), for about $140 you can get 2 120G SATA-300's and easily put them on a RAID 0 interface to speed up your system by around 30% (I still regret not doing that on my last build)

1024mb (1GB) PC3200 DDR-400 SDRAM Memory Lifetime Warranty +$129.95

1024mb (1GB) PC3200 DDR-400 SDRAM Memory Lifetime Warranty +$129.95

Go Dual Channel RAM in a 2 x 1GB (same as 1024mb), you can't go wrong with OCZ or Corsair

Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum Retail Boxed +$195.00

Sounds a little like overkill for your system, but that's just me

Aopen 56k v.92 PCI voice/fax modem +$19.95

Do you have dial up? If not, you don't need this

Intel Pro 1000T 10/100/1000 Desktop 64Bit PCI Network Card Lifetime Warranty +$65.00

Your motherboard already has a Network Card built in

Lite-On 52x32x52x16 IDE DVD/CDRW Combo Drive, Black w/ SW +$52.00

Way too expensive you can get a DVD ROM for about $30

Sony 16x Dual Layer DVD+/-R Combo Drive w/ software +$99.00

Way too expensive you can get a DVD/RW for $50

ATI 256MB All In Wonder X600 Pro PCI Express X16 Video Card Retail Boxed w/ Remote & TV Tuner, includes video editing software bundle +$229.00

Sounds good

MS Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP2 OEM +$169.00

Do you have any specific reason for going x64 edition? You'll have trouble finding drivers

Cold Cathode Blue 12'' Tube Light w/ Audio Sensor +$15.95

24'' Blue Round ATA 100/133 IDE Cable +$5.95

80mm Case Fan w/ 4 Pin Pass-Thru Connect +$8.95

Creative Silver/Black 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker Set, Retail Boxed +$75.00

Gigabyte 8IG1000MK mATX P4 800 FSB Dual Channel DDR Mainboard w/ Vid, Sou, Lan +$115.00

I would recommend going with a better Motherboard - It's listed on Newegg.com for $85, so don't pay 115 for it

Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz Prescott H-T 800 FSB CPU Retail Boxed w/ Fan +$275.00

Have you considered going AMD? For $322 you can get yourself a Dual 3800+ which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
