brucebowker
If I receive a legal program from someone via an email attachment as an example and I wish to check for a virus, should the program be installed first but not run and checked or should the zip file or install file be checked first?ThanksBruce

TheTerrorist_75
Check the zipped file first. Check it again after unzipping but before executing. Some anti-virus programs can detect the virus/trojan hidden in a zip file. Never execute the file until it is scanned
