Brian_Holiday
I found a story about the free VMWare viewer on the web and the free browser appliance. I decided to give it a try as an easy way to use Firefox, since I can no longer tolerate IE.. I am simply stunned, this little Ubuntu distro it is based on is bulletproof so far, and allows me to perform many tasks like SSH, Script editing and web development in an actual Unix environment all from an XP work computer. It even allowed me to install certain sets of programs like composer, evolution, and GLADE to the virtual machine. When I close it, it saves the current state until I start it, so there is only a single boot up sequence when I first started it. BTW, if any of yu decide to take a look, you need the root password to install new apps. It is "vmware". BH
