Guest Crow
For those of you not familiar with IRC, Its the oldest chatting service on the web (from the way I understand it anyway). Setting up an irc client is much different than your usuall "yahoo" - "msn" - "aim" etc.. You first must know what server network you want to join. For instance B's room....you want to sign on to the Wyldryde network, from there you need to know which server. My prefferance was Quickstream. So heres were you stand if your following, "Quickstream.Wyldryde.net" (without the quotes) is the network server you want to connect to. At the end of that you type " :6667 " as is the default port number to connect to. QuickStream.WyldRyde.Net:6667Then once your connected to the server (you will know when you connect as all sorts of messages will start showing up in the Irc server window your trying to connect in) When its done and your connected, type /join #whatever-room-here .. in this case #besttechie./join #besttechieAnd your all set

bozodog
You can also just use: irc.wyldryde.net this will connect you to any one of the servers available. I have that and a few others configured in my chat client. So I have the option to choose a server if need be.
Matt
To see the current status on the servers go to www.wyldryde.net
