CurlingSteve Posted January 1, 2006 Report Share Posted January 1, 2006 Drop the "all" part.Try :ipconfig /releaseThat should release everything.Then try:ipconfig /renewThat should try to reconnect everything.Anything you typed after those commands was interpreted as specifying a particular, named adapter/connection. Honda_Boy Posted January 14, 2006 Report Share Posted January 14, 2006 the easiest way in XP is to just open your network connections and tell it to repair. It does the same thing it's just easier. I remeber using winicfg in 98. I was confused big time when I got XP. But once i figured out the network connections repair it was simple. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
