lynseymillar
My pc wont play any sound, it says theres no device connected, ive checked the sockets but i cant seem to find anything loose etc?this is what windows media player came up with when i tried to play a songWindows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly. Also, This is what i see under the device manager:audio codecslegacy audio driverslegacy video capture devicesmedia control devicesrealtek AC'97 audio for VIA ® audio controllerStandrad games portvideo codecsany help would be appreciated, thanks lynsey Edited December 8, 2005 by lynseymillar
