IEatHardDrives
I just bought a new cannon digital camera and when I try to install the software for the camera I get a file transfer error and it stops the installation. Any ideas of what is causing that.

Pete_C
Normally, with usb devices you install the software first , then connect the device when prompted. Did you do this? Or have you already connected the camera? If so go to device manager and remove it and any unknown or malfunctioning devices.Secondly, make sure the install cd is not dirty or damaged. If it is not, make sure your cdrom drive is clean by using a cdrom laser lens cleaner disk. If this does not solve it , try copying the files from the cdrom to a folder on your hard drive (using windows explorer) and installing from the folder.
