Her Cd writer stopped working and is giving a code 39 - Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. Honda_Boy Posted September 25, 2005 Report Share Posted September 25, 2005 have you tried going to HP's or Mitsumi's driver download sites and looking up the drivers for the said drive? it says there is a driver error so I am assuming you need to repair or reinstall the driver.
